About The Italian Olive Oil Company
The Company was established at the turn of this century by Geoffrey and Richard Davies and his Partner Roberta. They realised that there was a lack of understanding and availability of fine, single estate, extra virgin Italian olive oils in England. These were readily available and somewhat taken for granted in Italy where Richard and Roberta live but were very difficult to obtain in England.
Robert McGlew a friend of theirs has taken over the business and intends to take it to the next step. It is already established as a leader in fine Italian oils and the intention is to offer oils from other regions of Italy. Robert is a passionate cook who lives on the Kent, Sussex borders. His love of using the best ingredients available means that he already knows how and when to use these exclusive oils to enhance his cooking.
Geoffrey is staying on to help him and they will continue to do tastings and be represented at the fairs in the South East where the company has become established.

Written by Richard Davies, who founded the business at the turn of the century and is its ex-managing director. He lives in Italy and is an internationally respected Yacht Surveyor.
It’s a corny name for a page but he loved Olive Oyle and during my time as a professional yachtsman sailing in the Mediterranean I got to know quite a bit about the Mediterranean way of life and the fine local Olive oils.... Click here to read more
