From Lazio just North of Rome in the heart of Italy

Lazio is the region just south of Tuscany and north of Rome. The oils from this region are not dissimilar to the Tuscan oil but has their own distinct flavours.

The Archibusacci family have been harvesting the olives for the last 125 years from their groves in the Canino area and from Boschetto since 1935.

This fine DOP Canino oil has been produced in Chiusaccio since 1999 from 80 hectares in the municipality, from centuries-old natural olive varieties; Frantoio, Luccino, Maurino and Pandlio varieties that thrive in these groves go toward making this outstanding Lazio oil.

This oil represents the flavour of the complex oils from this region.

Arturo Archibusacci founded the business in 1888 to produce oil from the Canino area and the family have remained true to his belief that this oil is outstanding

We hope you enjoy the various flavours in the middle of the tastes and the long and piquant finish. It is an all-around oil that is not too intense but retains the complex flavours of oils from the Lazio region.

The Canino DOP olive oil from Archi- busacci is a favourite for salads such as Rocket and is superb on a Caprese salad.

Its complex flavours make it an excellent dipping oil and it is well suited to pour on bruschettas.
